ARTIST STATEMENT

COLOR- the cornerstone and the foundation of my art practice; my constant studio muse and life-long inspiration in all aspects of my life. My paintings are the intersection of color, composition, and mark-making executed with layers of pigment and mixed media.

The promise of a blank canvas is one of my greatest joys and pushing the boundaries with the placement of color never fails to captivate my imagination.

My creative process is very symbiotic. With every piece, I channel my life into my paintings, and the paintings always spill over into my life.
